OAB holds bimonthly support group meetings for people with pull-thru procedures (also called pelvic pouch, Ileoanal reservoir, or J-, S-, or W-pouch). These meetings take place at both the Boston Medical Center (formerly University Hospital) and at the Lahey Clinic Burlington campus (see Chapter satellite meetings). Although these groups focus on the pull-thru procedure, individuals with a Kock pouch (fecal diversion type) or the Barnett Continent reservoir are also welcome.
