History:

In the Spring Bulletin 2005 issue of the OAB Bulletin we are proud to introduce the first in a series of what has come to be called "The OAB History Project." The project was initiated by past president Sterling Alam, in honor of OAB's 40th anniversary celebration. The idea behind the project was not only to recognize and remember the pioneering efforts of our founding members, but to capture the spirit and significance of the movement they began through recorded interviews, thus creating a living oral history. The initial interviews were conducted by OAB members Sterling Alam, Ed Beucler, Harvey Bloom, Florence Cohen, Jan Glover, Ben Pascucci and Lisa Whiteside.
